Jewish Education and Family Engagement

Year after year Hillcrest Jewish Center is filled with more young families and for that reason our programing and offers grows as well trying to meet the expectations and needs of our growing membership.

Here are some of the programs we are offering throughout 2017-2018

 

Early Childhood

  • Weekly activities for babies: Each week we will have fun programs for our babies (from 3 to 18 months). Tuesdays, 11 AM.
  • Weekly activities for toddlers: Each week we will have storytelling, art & craft and other fun program for our toddlers (from 2 years old to 5 years old). Thursdays, 5 PM Click here to see the dates of our future events:
  • Shabbat Youth Services: Each Saturday morning we have four services running at the same time for all ages (From toddlers to 11th grade).
  • Sunday Program for babies and toddlers: Before each holiday we will offer a special program (theater, music, art & craft, and more) for all our babies and toddlers. Click here to see the dates of our future events:

 

Children and Youth

  • Shabbat Youth Services: Each Saturday morning we have four services running at the same time for all ages (From toddlers to 11th grade).
  • Shabbat Dinners: Each month we will run a Shabbat dinner with special programs for our teens, middle schoolers and elementary school kids. Click here to see the dates of our future events:
  • Havdalot: Three times during the year we will run special Havdalah for our tweens and teens with great and fun programming.

 

Young Couples (or singles) and Youth and Family Parents

  • Drinks, Desserts and Stories (fall-winter session): During the coldest days of the year we will meet once a month at someone’s house to read great stories, to schmooze and to enjoy. Click here to see the dates of our future events:
  • Chevrutah with the Rabbi: Rabbi Uri is available to be your Torah-Partner studying and leading young adults and Y&F parents in weekly or bi-weekly Torah studying sessions.
